Alison Phelan
Alison is an analysis specialist and expert in working cross-culturally. She has a rich background in private sector training and Further/Higher Education management. She excels in research and evaluation, training needs analysis, employee-cantered research, business process improvement, and fostering cultural change within organisations.

Before her freelance career, Alison managed at a Grade 1 college, focusing on employer engagement, and has experience in training and recruitment in the private sector.

Her commitment extends beyond professional realms to community and volunteering efforts, including fundraising and outreach in her local area, collaborating with The Hollins School and Aawaz, a Lancashire organisation aiding South Asian women.

Alison’s civic involvement includes roles as a Patient Representative on the HPB Clinical Reference Group for Lancashire and South Cumbria and as a Patient Advisor, contributing to a qualitative study on primary care post-pancreaticoduodenectomy, findings of which were published in the BJGP.

Her diverse experiences underscore her resourcefulness and positive approach, making significant impacts both in her career and community.
